Germany’s Best Training Companies

Matthäi has once again earned its place among Germany’s best training companies

For decades, the Matthäi Group has been renowned for their excellently trained young staff. Prominent figures are once again acknowledging this success. The business magazine FOCUS-MONEY and the Institute for Management and Economic Research has conducted a joint study of numerous companies in Germany with the largest number of employees. The study examines all relevant indicators regarding the quality of the training provided by these companies. The Matthäi Group ticked every single box and this meant that the title of "Germany's best training companies" could be awarded for another year running.

"The trainers at our group's locations do an excellent job year upon year," emphasised Andreas Höttler, Managing Partner at Matthäi. "We see this not only in the results from our final exams, which are above average. We see it particularly in the daily work on our construction sites, where our young talents are able to put the things they have learned into practice." Part of the company's philosophy is that trainees are given responsibility at a very early stage. Experienced colleagues are always on hand to help them. This improves results and ensures a dynamic coexistence between different generations.

It is also noteworthy that Matthäi offers its trainees the chance to pursue further training or a bachelor's degree after completing their training. After all, we want to retain young professionals for the future. "For us, successful training means convincing young colleagues to stay with us after they graduate," Höttler sums up. "This is almost always the case. For us, that’s the best award of all."
